Why I Stopped Consuming Content For 90 Days

We live in the information world, which means we have unlimited information at our fingertips. Within seconds, you can find the answer to just about anything using your phone or computer. It's truly amazing!

As an entrepreneur, I am constantly seeking out new information. I'm always reading, watching how-to videos, or listening to podcasts... whatever it takes to become a more knowledgeable entrepreneur and a more productive and successful person.

The problem is that all of that information can create overwhelm, especially when you're trying to launch a big new project or business. There are a million and one different ways that you could potentially reach your end goal... and each one you learn about seems better than the last.

But in reality, the best plan is the one you take action on, and you can't take action on anything if you are stuck in the world of content consumption. At some point you just have to pick a plan of attack and execute.

For me, this meant putting an end to all content consumption for 90 days while I was trying to create my Signature Course: The Entrepreneur's Guide to Outsourcing.

I had to trust that I had all of the information I needed to create the course (which I did) and I just had to get started. No more delaying the process while I researched more and no more distractions from shiny objects... it was time to get down to business.

And that's exactly what I did.

And guess what?!

Within 90 days, I built an amazing course that has had an unbelievable impact on myself and my students... all because I decided to stop consuming content and take action.

Now, I'd like to challenge you to do the same. Stop consuming content for 90 days and take action on your goals. Launch that business. Build that new product or app or website. Start that side hustle. Whatever it is, just get moving.

If you need to research something specific while your taking action, do it. But don't let yourself get bogged down by content consumption. Instead, do just-in-time content consumption, where you find the answer fast and then you get back to taking action.

After you're done, I'd love to know how it goes. What were you able to accomplish after giving up content consumption for 90 days? Let us know in the Comments down below!
